Helicopter Spins Wildly into Palm Groves at Frequented California Beach
A chopper hovering above a well-attended southern California coastline suddenly started spinning out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm trees as spectators watched.
Recordings uploaded on the internet depict the helicopter commencing to spiral above Huntington Beach then falling towards the perimeter of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm groves and a staircase near the coastal road.

Local firefighters stated five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two individuals who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the crash on Saturday.
